Licensed Mental Health Consultant

Licensed Clinical professional Counselor with over 20 years of experience in mental health, providing therapy and counseling services to individuals, families, and groups. 

Nora is from Peru and is bilingual (Spanish and English), which allows her to communicate effectively with clients from different linguistic backgrounds. This ensures more inclusive care for clients who may not be fluent in English or feel more comfortable speaking in their native language. Additionally, she is multiculturally competent, an essential skill that requires being sensitive and knowledgeable about cultural differences and understanding how these differences affect clients' mental health and well-being.

Nora specializes in the treatment of depression, anxiety, and acculturation. She also treats other mental health diagnoses; she works with all ages and provides consultation on parenting skills. As mentioned above, she works with patients and parents from diverse multicultural backgrounds who struggle with psychological issues and the implications of living in a different culture. She provides a warm and non-judgmental therapeutic relationship to facilitate the personal growth of everyone seeking emotional support.
